In the Fernando Fernández section we find a small selection of works by the prolific and prominent comic author, illustrator and painter from Barcelona.
Fernando Fernández (Barcelona 1940-2010) dedicated his life to plastic creation, mainly to the creation of Comics and Illustration. His works were published in Europe and the United States, receiving awards and recognition from critics and readers around the world. Currently part of his artistic creation is in private collections and museums in various European and American cities.
In this selection of works of art by Fernando Fernández we observe a constant throughout his career as a plastic creator, the diversity of registers, invoice and techniques used. From the elaborate work of the graphite pencil, through Chinese ink, tempera, acrylic paint, aniline and of course oil paint.
